I'm Back!

I've been a lazy blogger lately! I know every one's tired of seeing the last post, so here are some recent pictures. Tripp is walking/running all over the place now. He's so big. He's been off the bottle for a month and only drinks out of big boy cups now. I don't know why this makes me sad, but it does! Here is a picture of Tripp on the beach at my Mom's house. Disclaimer: I do not frequently allow my child to run around in his swim diaper, but he had sand in his trunks, so I took them off. And, we obviously still have the paci, but as of last week, he only takes it at night (unless , of course we are traveling...hehe)! I don't know why, but the whole paci debate doesn't bother me...I' m all for it. I 'll keep you posted on when we take it completely away...not looking forward to it! The last pictures was taken at the YMCA here. We have the BEST pool! I 'll post pictures later. It has tons of water slides , sprinklers, and is very baby friendly!

I have missed you! Tripp is walking! We are still trying to accomplish that, but combined with trying to potty train a very stubborn 3 yr old and entertain his 5 yr old sister at the same time, crawling is still his best bet - he's fast!

I totally understand your sadness about the bottles! I packed all of mine up and gave them to a friend with a newborn about a month ago. That sippy cup just makes it seem like they are not babies anymore, doesn't it?

All I can say as far as the passy- you gotta do what works. Knox had his until last november- right before his 3rd birthday. Only at night of course. So, whatever makes him, and you happy- he isn't going to go to college with it!
Looks like summer is FUN!
