Exciting News!

As many of you know, David and I have moved several times in our seven years of marriage. God has provided some amazing job opportunities and we have lived in some pretty cool places. However, we feel that we have simply been walking through open doors. Not really called in one direction or another. Over the past several months we have felt God calling us in a certain direction. At first it didn't make much sense, as we were not searching for anything new. This time it wasn't just a door we were walking through. We now look back and see that God has been preparing us over the past several years for his plan for our lives. These past several months we have been praying and truly seeking God's will for our lives. It may sound strange when I tell you what we are doing, but once I explain I think you'll get a better idea of how this next adventure in our lives is what God has been saving for us! We are excited to tell everyone that we along with 4 other couples are buying a bread company in Buckhead (Atlanta)!

It's not your run-of-the-mill bread company. What's unique about our bread company is that our bread is fresh-milled every morning from organically grown Montana wheat. Simply said, we grind our own wheat and there are no additives or preservatives in our bread. Bread that is bought at the grocery store has vital nutrients that have been stripped from the flour to achieve longer shelf life. When used in its whole form, wheat is an excellent source of fiber and many critical B-Vitamins. Wheat germ is one of the richest sources of Vitamin E when it is freshly milled, like we do at Full Cup. The best part is, it taste awesome! We sell all kinds of breads including, Ezekiel Bread, Cranberry Walnut, Cinnamon Raisin, Wheat Bread, Muffins, Cookies, granola and sandwiches! We are also open for lunch serving our yummy Organic Basil Chicken Salad, Tuna Salad, Egg Salad, and White Cheddar Pimento Cheese.

I feel that I have to give you some background as to why this bread company is special and unique. Our company has been in Buckhead for the past ten years. The lady we are purchasing the company from started this company as she felt the Lord calling her "to go and bake bread"! You see, Carol was working for a Fortune 500 company making a lucrative living when she felt God urging her to do this. She knew that God had a purpose for her life, but wasn't sure what he had planned. She knew it involved baking bread and nutrition. The health benefits of eating bread in it's natural form are outstanding. So Carol literally gave up everything and started baking bread in her kitchen. She gave her bread to friends and neighbors and by word of mouth, her bread business grew and grew. Not only did people love the taste of her bread, they loved the health benefits and digestive benefits even more. Carol couldn't keep the bread coming fast enough. Carol has used this bread as her ministry. There are scripture verses in every bag of bread that she sells. Carol has spent the last ten years perfecting her bread and sharing with everyone that comes in her store the love of Christ.

Caro now feels God calling her to teach about nutrition and the health benefits of eating right. She is leaving/selling her company to a group of people who share her same vision and love for Christ. While Carol won't own the company anymore, she will still very much be supporting us in any way that she can.

The name of our Company is Full Cup Bread. We are excited about Full Cup and can't wait to see where God takes us. We know God will be glorified as he is shared all over through our Bread. Please check out our website www.fullcupbread.com and stay tuned as we will be adding a fresh new look to our website.

We have bought a house in Buckhead and David is in the process of gutting it as I type. So as you know, we will be moving to Atlanta within the next week. We hope that you all will pray for us as we follow God's lead. I'll be in touch through the blog to keep you all posted!

ALSO: I wanted to let everyone know that David and I just found out we are expecting our second child in February. We feel very thankful and would appreciate your prayers as we begin this next phase in our lives. I announce this with a thankful, sensitive heart as I know many of you desire to start your own families.

“Then Jesus declared, ‘I tell you the truth, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world’”. John 6:32-33

I mean CRAP, Tegan. You miss talking to you for...well...a couple months, and you miss you buying a bread company, moving AGAIN, and HAVING ANOTHER BABY! Crap!

OK, now that I've recovered a bit. The company sounds incredible and my mouth is watering (especially about the cranberry walnute bread) already. I can't wait to hear more about your and David's journey to this point. God is so good!

Second, bless your heart. I have not moved once since we've been married. I look at all the crud we have accumulated in our basement, and I just hurt at the thought of ever having to move. I don't know how you do it!

Lastly, but really first, I am most excited for you about the news of the new addition. Two is so much fun, and watching them love each other...your love doesn't divide it just multiplies exponentially.

Miss You!
Abby
