Big Day!!

We had a big day today! The weather was beautiful and warm, so we decided to take Tripp to the park. He rode the slide for the first time and he got in the big boy swing by himself. It's been so cold here we haven't been able to do any fun outings with him. After the park, we went for a stroll by this beautiful creek. We had an awesome day!

Since I haven't posted in a while, I thought I would update you on Tripp's latest adventure. I walked in the kitchen for a minute and came back to find Tripp half way up the stairs. No, we haven't put gates up....yet! We will this week. He's been crawling and pulling up for a long time now, but he just bolted up the stairs this week!

This Isn't Normal!!!!

Yes, this is my almost ten month old with a golf ball in his mouth! The funny thing is, he kept in his mouth for a long time. I got worried and finally took it out of his mouth. Does this make me a bad mother...the fact that I let my child crawl around with a golf ball in his mouth! Dave told me it wasn't a good idea!

We went to Louisville this past weekend and stayed with Dave's sister and her family. On the way there, David had to make a stop to see a client. Tripp needed a break from his car seat, so he decided to take the wheel!

Finally Finished!

As most of you know, Dave and I moved twice during the course of my pregnancy and birth of my child. We moved from Washington D.C. to Richmond, VA and from there to Nashille, TN where we currently live. I started three separate nurseries for Tripp. I like most women, was very excited to get the nursery ready for the birth of our first child. Well, after three attempts, I finally finished! I've had his room done for the most part, but I was waiting on a few more pictures of my parents and grandparents when they were babies. I finished hanging the last picture today. Here are the pictures.

My in-laws stopped in a few days ago. I snapped some pictures of Tripp and his MiMi!Tripp loves to play in the kitchen while I'm cooking. I turned around and he was sitting in the mixing bowl! Give the child some bowls and a wooden spoon and he's entertained for an hour!

"Mommy Break"

I had an awesome weekend with some great girlfriends of mine from high school! I met up with some of my closest friends in Atlanta this weekend. It just happened to be my birthday and my friend Brandy's birthday also! We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton and had a blast! My sweet husband and Tripp had to fend for themselves this weekend. He's so sweet!David put Tripp's face on my Birthday card!

Lots of Teeth!

My sweet baby has lots of teeth! The pictures are not very good, but it's all I can do to get Tripp to sit still these days. He is busy!
